The Forum is aimed at exchange of technological advances, expansion of cooperation in science and technology and elaboration of effective procedures for implementation of groundbreaking ideas in shipbuilding, IT, aquaculture, ecology, agriculture, food biotechnology, aquatic bioresources and functional food technology.
Traditionally, the Forum discusses main scientific and technological trends that determine development of the modern domestic and world fisheries industry. A special role is given to consideration of new educational technologies and improvement of the system of integrated networked maritime education, latest trends and challenges in creating interactive distributed laboratories, as well as intelligent systems for managing coastal infrastructure facilities and territories based on situational center technologies.
International Baltic Maritime Forum provides a unique opportunity to expand scientific and business relations, to present scientific findings to the expert community, and to showcase products and services to the Russian and international business community.
In 2020, over 1000 people took part in the Forum, 10 scientific and practical conferences took place. The best reports were published in special issues of the journal “Marine Intelligent Technologies” (included in the international reference database Web of Science) and IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science (included in the international reference database Web of Science and Scopus).
